Our Metal Finishing History
Since 1973, Mann Metal Finishing, Inc. has been providing high quality metal finishing services. Starting as a partnership under the name of Mann & Key, Jewell Mann (owner and President) partnered with Bill Key to start what would become a quality metal finishing company. They continued as partners until 1988. At this time Jewell Mann purchased the entire stock and became sole owner of Mann & Key. The business then became known as Mann Metal Finishing, Inc. Jewell's children soon became involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. His daughter Tammy Collins, son Dwane Mann, and son-in-law Greg Collins, all became Vice Presidents in 1995, each with their own responsibilities. The company continued to grow to the current work force of more than 100 employees.
In 1994, a larger facility was purchased. This continued expansion allowed Mann Metal Finishing to further service additional markets. More expansion and new finishing capabilities started with the purchase of a second facility in Hartford in the summer of 1999. The two facilities now offer over 120,000 sq. feet of metal finishing space.
With over 30 years of experience in the metal finishing industry, Mann Metal Finishing has proven their ability to maintain continued high quality standards, ensure on time delivery, provide exceptional customer service, and competitive pricing. They have remained a family-owned and operated business for 30+ years. Though many obstacles can arise in a family business, Mann Metal Finishing has maintained a close personal and working relationship within the family. This characterizes their commitment to their customers and strong relationships with their employees. This touch of personalization sets Mann Metal Finishing apart from many companies. Trust and loyalty combined with high quality standards puts Mann Metal Finishing above the rest.
Let Mann Metal Finishing provide you with solutions to your metal finishing needs. All it takes is a phone call or email to start what could become a long and loyal relationship.
